If you love where you live, can’t bear to move on, but need more space (such as an extra bedroom, or a working from home office) or just fancy a change, then there’s every option of altering and extending your home. We carry out many extensions and alterations projects for our clients, some small, some large (and lots in between). But no matter what, we ensure that each project is treated with special care and attention, because we know that every individual project is very important to our individual clients. We try our hardest to match each client’s own aspirations, and deliver a design with that ‘something different’ wherever we can, because after all, we’re all unique. So, whatever your budget, whatever your need, whatever your style, we’ll be happy to talk through your project step-by-step, from design to planning and building regulations to build.

A small but well crafted extension and internal alterations to a cottage on the outskirts of York.

The single storey extension provides for an improved open plan kitchen, with three pyramidal roof lights and chalk white heritage render to the whole of the property. Internally the high quality fittings included hand crafted kitchen furniture, hardwood flooring and frameless glass doors, with new oak framed porch and stone flagged entrance paving enhancing the approach into the house.

We're really pleased with this garden room project which has added extra space to the rear elevation, and really opened up the main living areas to the gardens.

A few complexities of how the new would marry in with the existing gave us the opportunity for a flat roof option, with fully glazed link to accentuate the linking between the 'old and the new' and a lovely fully openable glass corner to really capture the lovely garden views.

We really enjoy improving homes for our clients.

This project in Haxby, York created a bright open and spacious family home from a tired bungalow.

Re-visualising the elevations and using a simple palette of materials has given this house a true facelift, and brought it back up to date.

We've incorporated energy efficient heating and lighting, coupled with renewable energy solar PV and an air source heat pump for the heating and hot water, helping the running costs and the environment at the same time!
